The Queen Ethelfleda Awards
The Queen Ethelfleda Awards have been created to recognise and celebrate the individuals who continue to make a positive difference within our communities today.
Inspired by Queen Ethelfleda, one of Britain's most remarkable historical figures and the founder of Chester as we know it, these awards honour people whose actions, leadership and commitment strengthen our city and support those around them.
Whether through community service, volunteering, advocacy, business leadership or social impact, we believe these individuals deserve recognition for the contribution they make to Chester and its people.
We invite members of the public to submit nominations and help us celebrate those who embody the spirit, courage and community values that Queen Ethelfleda represented.
